Prasad Rao is a veteran agriculturist aged 65 years and spearheads the farm management at Deccan Exotics. He monitors and guides the team in executing all the on-field activities at the company's Sangareddy farm. Having been born and brought up in an agricultural family, Prasad Rao has his roots in farming and brings to the table in-depth experience and proven insights in all aspects of Crop Management (soil, water and nutrients) and farm management. Prior to establishing Deccan Exotics, Prasad Rao was an entrepreneur and had built extensive experience in the infrastructure space too.
Chandra Shekar Rao, aged 38, is an entrepreneur with extensive marketing experience to his credit. He managing the entire sales and marketing activities of the farm. He is actively involved in putting together and implementing marketing plans for the commercial farm apart from actively strategizing growth to ensure that Deccan Exotics achieves it mission of becoming the largest farm for exotics fruits in India. Prior to joining Deccan Exotics, he gained vast marketing experience, having worked with his father Prasad Rao to grow the family's infrastructure business successfully.
Srinivas Rao, aged 33, is a Doctor (Physician), by profession and is passionate about farming and food processing, particularly exotic fruits and vegetables. He plays a pivotal role in the R&D and Marketing initiatives of Deccan Exotics. Srinivas travels frequently to leading fruit farms and research centres across the world, investing considerable time in receiving training in the latest farming systems, procuring the finest seedlings, networking with the best farms and initiating valuable collaborations that will enable Deccan Exotics strengthen its knowledge and capabilities across the business eco-system including harvesting, grading, packing and packaging, transport, storage, food processing, distribution and advertising.
